The wilderness experience was preparation for the spiritual battle that Jesus fought and won against Satan.<p>The HolySpirit will not lead us into something for which we are not prepared.<p>Had Jesus not spent this time preparing to go head-to-head with Satan, He may have stumbled in Gethsemene.
