The thief is the enemy (not Christ). We need to be vigilant so that we see the enemy coming and can thwart his efforts to deceive us.<p>The cat is out of the bag around the world.  The SpiritOfAntichrist is in control of the world.  We did not watch and our house has been broken into.  That which we counted precious has been stolen from us.<p>^Would not have suffered^ means -> ^would not have allowed^, which means --> ^would have stopped^, which means ---> ^would have used force^.<p>We are not to suffer at the hands of criminals.   The only time we should NOT resist evil is when we are being persecuted for the cause of Christ 2Ti 2:12.<br>Otherwise a Christian society would be a lawless society with criminals flocking to take advantage of the easy pickings.
