Jesus is telling them - before His death - that they would not see Him again until they acknowledged Him - Jesus - as Lord.   He literally stopped ministering to them at this point and turned His attention to His disciples.<p>In the preceding verse Jesus curseed them for their willful unbelief which they will stubbornly pass down to each successive generation.
