Notice that we have to `put on` these attributes of the Lord.   SoulSalvation is a process by which we cooperate with the Holy Spirit to become what the Lord has planned for us.   <p>We must willfully and purposefully allow the Holy Spirit to manifest His character in and through us.   <hr>We are the elect in that we have been chosen.   Does that mean others are not chosen?   ^Many are called but few are chosen.^ Matt 22:14<p>When a job is listed by an employer it is offered to everyone.   But only those who respond by coming in for an interview have the chance of being chosen.   Some that come in for the interview decide they do not want the job.   Of those that are interested the employer looks at their qualifications.   He chooses those who have the best qualifications.   <p>What are the qualifications for being one of the elect of our Lord?   Rom 10:9,10 tells us how we are chosen.   The key thing in these verses is that the chosen have Heart Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and so enter into intimate, personal relationship with Him by virtue of receiving His Word and His Holy Spirit.   <p>Remember, in the parable of the sower and the seed the determining factor was the quality of the ground.   If you are GoodGround you are elected and so you will put on the LordJesusChrist Rom 13:14.
