Jesus told us to worship Him in SpiritAndTruth.   The ritualization of Christianity by the Catholics and to a lesser extent, the Protestants, destroyed the effectiveness of the church.   It made the believers ignorant of the Truth and weak in faith, enabling the enemy to gain control of and destory the earth (His vinyard).
