Religion has always been a part of every civilization.  This is because man knows in his heart that there is a God.  Religion is his attempt to explain that God and to be in accord with Him.<p>In Babylonia they worshipped many gods and placed great significance in the alignment of stars.  They believed that certain man had access to gods and deferred to them in times of trouble.<p>It was such men whom the king called on to interpret his dream.
