Many believers assume Paul is talking about Jesus` perfection, His abstinence from sin. But this is not the case because of what Paul himself said in Rom 8:1 and Rom 3:22.<br>Paul was already righteously guilt free by the gift of the Lord.<p>And Paul had already received the prize of the gift of EternalLife through Christ Jesus.<p>So, if righteousness, freedom from guilt and EternalLife was not his goal, what was he pressing toward? -> The mark is the MindOfChrist. -> The prize is the Lord Himself. -> The high calling is to manifest as a SonOfTheHolySpirit<p>The MindOfChrist is being totally consumed in faith and living life as a SonOfTheHolySpirit.<p>How do we press toward that mark?<br>We fellowship with the Lord in His Word and pray in His Spirit.<p>How do we gain the prize?<br>We become totally consumed by His faith and totally absorbed by His HolySpirit.
