Jesus has the power to deliver us from every form of bondage and to empower us to stay out of bondage.<p>Notice that He `makes` us free.  This is because the OldMan is unfixable.  We are BornAgain of the Word by the HolySpirit and so are made free in the NewMan which is a NewSpirit being.
