Jesus is encouraging His disciples to check their hearts against His Words. <p>Judas did not listen to the Words of Jesus. He saw the miracles and the power of Christ as a means to the end that he desired.  <p>Many Christians today have created they own view of Christ to suit their ends.  They do this by dissociating Christ from His Words and reconstituting Him in a way that is compromised with the world.
