Every person is either connected to or disconnected from the Lord. We were all disconnected at birth. Those of us who receive Christ are BornAgain and so connected to Him. <p>When a person is connected to the Lord they grow in knowledge of Him. Those disconected from the Lord are in darkness and cannot know Him without coming to the light.
