Thomas questioned God.   He flat out challenged what Jesus had just said.  -> Was it because he didn^t understand the Words? -> Was it because he did not receive the Words?  ->  Was he being obtuse? -> Was he being stubborn? <p>Whatever it was he had no problem contradicting the Lord.<p>Many believers are just like Thomas in the sense that they resist what our Lord has said.   They may not resist out loud as Thomas but in their hearts they do not believe His Words.<p><b>This is a problem.</b><p>Faith comes by hearing His Words. <br> This word ^hearing^ means hearing, believing, receiving and doing. -> If we resist His Words we cannot have faith. -> If we cannot have faith we cannot appropriate the blessings He has provided.<p>Do not resist the WordOfTheLord.  Doing so is a recipe for failure.
