John apparently had a more intimate relationship with Christ Jesus than did the other disciples. <p>This was not a result of favoritism, rather it was an artifact of John`s attentiveness to the things that Christ Jesus said that the other disciples allowed to just go over their heads. <p>I suspect John asked more questions to gain deeper understanding of our Lord`s teachings.<p>Fellowship increases love.<p>No doubt John`s keenness toward knowing what would happen at the EndOfTheAge led to the Revelation he received from the LordJesusChrist.  This keenness was reminiscent of Daniel`s desire to know the end of all things.
