Since man`s nature was corrupted by sin, it would have been a terrible thing for him to have eternal life in his fallen state.  So, the Lord removed the tree.<p>Since the TreeOfLife is the HolySpirit, the symbology is that sin separated man from the HolySpirit.<p>Christ Jesus was begotten of the HolySpirit to reconcile us to Himself.
