This beast is the AntiChrist who sits on the throne of the one-world government.  I suspect his great words are blasphemy against the Creator, especially His manifestation InChrist Jesus.<p>It is his determination to make war against the saints that prompts the return of Christ Jesus who will destroy him and cast him into the LakeOfFire.
