Joseph had the most spiritual strength of all the children of Israel, but that strength was not passed to his progeny (as it is not passed to ours). <p>The Lord uses those in every generation who are willing to be used of Him. In this case, and in the case of our Lord Jesus, it was the tribe of Judah.
