Such false teachers will be destroyed because they have worshipped their own bellies, focused on earthly things and have led people astray.<hr>Though Paul was addressing FalseProphets and false teachers, the principle applies to anyone in any area of life who is self-serving.  Such people -> say what people want to hear -> change their position to maximize their self interests -> can be depended on to be undependable<p>The ^belly^ represents selfish lusts.
