Jesus died for the whole world.  Yes, He was put to death just outside of the walls of Jerusalem but He suffered death at the hands of all mankind^s sin.   <p>So, figuratively speaking the Jewish people^s rejection of the LordJesusChrist symbolizes the rejection by every one who refuses His knowledge and Grace.<p>The genocide of Christians by the beast will be a type of reenactment of our Lord^s death at the hands of His own people.
