Formal religion has always been sort of a joke to the Lord.  The people in the OldTestament who were accepted were the people who had a relationship of faith with the Lord.<p>The trappings of religion were never more than instructional about the holiness of our Creator and our unholiness - i.e. our need for a Saviour.
