Jesus did not water baptize anyone.  If water baptism is critical to salvation, I would expect Him to make that a priority of His ministry.<p>He did not because water baptism is a symbol of what has happened in the SpiritRealm.<p>The KingdomOfHeaven is within us.  Externally applied water has no effect on the soul or spirit.
