Esau`s heart was for the land. He was carnal. He minded the flesh. The Lord did not make him so. He loved the creation more than the Creator. <p>Jacob valued the birthright. He knew that it entailed the blessings of the Lord for him, his children for generations to come. He had a sense the heavenly and even wrestled with an angel.
