Neither does God plan out every aspect of our human life. Yes, He has a plan for us, but He wants us to to choose that plan.
Would a human parent be happy in forcing their child to follow THEIR plan by deceiving the child into thinking it was the child's own plan? Maybe a few sickos.
But each of us were born with a desire for independence, for self-determination.
That is actually a gift from God. He wants us to have the ability and opportunity to choose what we will be.
His desire is for us to come to Him and explore life with Him. But He forces no one.
Calvinism teaches that God has a plan for each of us and that we inexorably follow that plan, not realizing that the choices we make were made for us by the great puppet-master in the sky.
How perverse!
How many of you parents would so control and deceive your own child?
How can any human think that they are better than, more honorable than, more honest than, more loving than God?
They call themselves Calvinists.
The object of faith is trust. How could you trust a being who has deceived you, is manipulating you and has determined your place in heaven or hell but won't tell you until The Judgment?
No one in their right mind.
And that is the summation of what it means to be a Calvinist - you trust in a God who by virtue of the nature of His scheme has proven Himself untrustworthy.
