There are probably many times in a person's life when they make a decision and The Dye Is Cast.
→ accept a job
→ sign a mortgage
→ marry a spouse
to mention a few.
But there is no more critical decision that a person ever faces than whether or not to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
Why anyone would think that the Holy Spirit can be rejected and yet return to draw them at a later date is rather mind-boggling.
We are talking about the Creator God and Saviour being rejected!
Now, no man can stop the Holy Spirit from drawing a person to Christ Jesus and no man can make the Holy Spirit draw a person Christ Jesus.
There has been a satanically inspired cheapening of the Gospel by too many who make excuses for the rebellious and enable them in their rebellion.
It is one thing to run from the Holy Spirit. It is quite another to blaspheme Him. Many have run and been caught. None who have blasphemed have been subsequently drawn.
In these Last Days we must confront every unbeliever with the ultimatum of salvation.
→ repent and be saved
→ rebel and be lost
Yes, there are many who have rebelled against the Lord Jesus Christ. Are they all doomed? I cannot speak to individual situations, but the answer tends towards yes .
There is a great river of arrogant rebellion flowing in the world today, particularly in western nations.
And whoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. |
Will something catastrophic happen to humble these arrogant rebels? On one hand we do not want to see a life and death catastrophe, but on the other hand, if that is the only way these will be humbled to repent, believe and be saved, we must pray that it happens.
I am not hopeful for the masses because it seems that they have done despite to the SpiritOfGrace and trodden under foot the precious blood of our Lord Jesus.
It seems to me that The Dye Is Cast for many of the atheistically, educated hedonists of today.
Accordingly, we must preach what John the baptist and Jesus preached throughout their ministries to the rebellious - Repentance.
