Though the left leaning of media had been increasing for many years, the arrival of Obama on the political scene provided the opportunity for it to forsake the news business and commit itself to being the propaganda arm of the left.
I remember wanting to know more about this Obama figure who seemed to come out of nowhere as a community organizer, turned Senator, turned presidential candidate.
Except for Sean Hannity there was no background checking going on by any of the major news outlets. It was if they had chosen their candidate and did not want the public to find any reason not to support him.
In 2012 after 4 years of screwing up America, the media was still covering for him. As Obamacare floundered, racism increased along with disenfranchising the police, the media remained firmly behind him enabling him to a second term.
Even while the effects of his anti-American/communist leanings were being felt nationwide, they never criticized him.
In 2016 America was ready to fix the mess created by eight years of an incompetent, communist underminer of America and Trump was elected.
Did the media align with Americans and rally around Trump who was for making America great again? No. They were committed to communism and maintaining their position as its propaganda arm.
In concert with the FBI and the democratic party led by Hillary Clinton they participated in the illegal impeachment of Trump, never using their powers of investigation to get at the truth.
During Trump's presidency the media never came against the democratic persecutors as they pursued impeachment.
The 2020 election fraud was swept under the rug by the media as they doubled-down on trying to destroy Trump as an insurrectionist.
They turned the heads rather than challenge the illegality of the J6 committee's political persecution of American patriots.
Over the past four years (2021-2024) they have allowed the political persecution of Trump with no calls for justice, but rather joining forces with the corrupt judicial system and democratic party to pile on.
Now they are warning America that Trump will go after revenge if he is re-elected. By stating this fear they are acknowledging their unfair, unjust treatment of him. After all, without an injustice, revenge makes no sense.
The news media has historically had the responsibility to the public to inform them. It is a fact that there has always been bias in reporting issues of a political nature.
However, it is also true that those in the media once loved traditional, Constitutional America.
This is no longer true.
The media is now categorically un American as it is committed to atheistic, fascist, totalitarian globalism as the future for America and the world.
If there is any hope for our future, it will be necessary for the FCC to define what constitutes news, opinions and editorials requiring the media outlets to label their programming accordingly, in the same way the tobacco industry has to warn the public regarding their products.

With respect to dishonesty in the Media...
It is bad journalism and immoral to allow a guest to tell an obvious lie and not challenge them on it. This happens many times on Fox these days.
The media, including Fox, conflate news with opinion, propaganda and entertainment. This is a terrible state of affairs.
60 years ago a local TV station in NC presented news and then had an editorial segment. The editorial segment was done by Jesse Helms.
It was clear to the viewers when they were watching news and when they were watching opinion.
If a viewer only wanted news they could stop watching or turn the channel when Jesse came on. We do not have that option today. This is not good.
I might add that opinion and facts are being conflated in our schools to the injury of our children.
I recommend that the FCC set standards for programming which will require the unraveling of news, from editorials and propagandizing. It would be akin to "truth in advertising" (what happened to that?). Each "news show" would have to display constantly on screen a banner qualifying what they were showing. The banner might be "News", "Editorial" or "Entertainment". There should be the requirement that these categories be used for segmenting the "show".
A show would look something like this:
1. News - this is what hapoened today
2. Editorial - this is what I think about what happened today
3. Entertainment - satire on, making fun of, and exaggeration of what happened today
As a minister I have to guard against conflating my opinion with the Word of God. If I do not keep them seperate, error is introduced and the hearers are damaged.
Honesty is required for health. To ignore it is to introduce error with damage to the hearer.
In other words, clean up the use of the word "news" so that people can know what is going on and still form their own opinions about what happened if they choose.
