To elevate Christ in our Minds and Hearts from a basic Knowledge and Understanding of the Gospel is Good, but pressing Toward The Mark For The Prize of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus is way better . -
The former Receives Forgiveness Of Sins and the Gift of God which is Eternal Life. This is from God demanding no Human effort - only Faith.
The latter is built upon the former reflecting what Paul referred to as "our reasonable service".
The Gift requires nothing but receiving.
The Prize requires effort and, in Spiritual terms, Good Works.
Many Christians differ, churches split and Denominations form because of misunderstandngs of the Gift and Prize.
Do not confuse the Gift and the Prize!
