And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Heb 2:15 People who live in fear are in bondage.     They are victims of thievery.     They are being robbed of life.      Fear is evidence of unbelief.      Jesus came to make us Free Indeed so that we can enjoy eternal, Abundant Life right now.      Fear Steals the moment.     It steals `now` leaving us hoping for a tomorrow that never comes.      Recognize it for what it is and be set free In Christ Jesus.

The reality is that many Christians are in Bondage to the Fear Of Death.   

Why is this?   

It has to do with About On In.   Very simply, About On In concerns itself with Trust which is the proof of Faith.   

And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.     Believe you this? Joh 11:26 In order for us to appropriate the truly miraculous we must believe that it has already been provided 2Pe 1:3.      Death is cessation of life.     Those In Christ will never know what cessation of life is.     When their body stops functioning they will immediately, without interrupt be alive in the presence of Christ Jesus 2Co 5:8.      Contrast this with the state of all those not In Christ Jesus.     They live in fear of death and so are in bondage to it all their lives Heb 2:15.

Note that after Jesus made this shocking statement He asked if those hearing believed what He was saying.   

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of the Holy Spirit is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:23 The sin that condemns to the Lake Of Fire is rejection of Jesus Christ Joh 3:18.      The gift of the Lord Jesus is His own Eternal Life, which is relationship with His Holy Spirit Joh 5:26.      There are two types of death:    ➛ physical death Heb 9:27    ➛ spiritual death Rev 21:8.      Adam and Eve did not immediately die physically when they sinned.     However, they immediately died spiritually Gen 2:17.      When a person sins, whether believer or unbeliever, the result is an aspect of death.     Somethings shrinks or shrivels instead of growing when sin occurs Joh 10:10.      Jesus gives us His life.      What is His life?         ➛ His Holy Spirit Joh 1:4.      Eternal Life is another name for His Holy Spirit.      To reject the Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is to reject Christ Jesus Himself Joh 8:19 Act 7:51.      We don`t receive Jesus when we believe on Him.     Rather, we receive His Holy Spirit in the Name Of Jesus who manifests Eternal Life in and through us Joh 3:5 1Jn 4:2.      The Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is who will raise us at Christ`s return Rom 8:11.      The gift of Himself is irrevokable Joh 14:16.      However, if we let sin reign in our mortal bodies we will suffer the consequences of that sin destroying our physical lives, our testimonies and our walk with the Lord Col 1:10.      Instead of us living a victorious, productive life with treasure laid up in heaven, we will be saved as by fire 1Cor 5:5.

The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Joh 10:10 The thief is Satan who is the inspiration for all the evil in the world.      Whereas the `I` is Jesus who offers us Eternal Life and Abundant Life.      This verse is a powerful statement contrasting the nature of the enemy with the nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.      Note that the enemy takes by force what is ours, while we must appropriate by faith what is ours in Christ Jesus.      The appropriation is not a `one and done` thing.     Rather, it is an ongoing process throughout our lives on this earth.      Jesus has given us His life in giving us His Holy Spirit who is in every believer who has asked to be filled.     We aught to invoke His life into every aspect of our walk in the earth.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. Joh 8:36 Jesus has the power to deliver us from every form of bondage and to empower us to stay out of bondage.      Notice that He `makes` us free.     This is because the Old Man is unfixable.     We are Born Again of the Word by the Holy Spirit and so are made free in the New Man which is a New Spirit being.

We see that Eternal, Abundant Life in total Freedom is ours in Christ Jesus.   There is NO reason for Fear Of Death and Bondage in any person in Christ.   

Any Christian who appreciates the Words of Christ regarding Death, Life and Freedom has a wonderful Testimony of the Gospel ( Good News) of the Kingdom of God.   

If you have not allowed the Words of Christ to Transform your Mind, let it happen now by meditating on the above Scriptures until the Holy Spirit makes them a reality in your life.   

When you do you will be filled with the Holy Spirit and the following verse will be fulfilled in your life:

But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Act 1:8 The Holy Spirit is the Gift Of Christ Jesus Himself.      We are weak in the flesh but by the power of His Holy Spirit we can do all things.     At the top of the list of `all things` is spreading the Gospel of salvation by Grace Through Faith.      Jesus did not say you will receive tongues or gifts.     He said you will receive power to be witnesses unto Him.     Tongues and gifts are for the church which is the Body Of Christ.
