While addressing bondage, deliverance ministers are actually being and making their subjects Sin Conscious and not Christ Conscious.
They are emphasizing the soul above the spirit.
Freedom is based on Knowing The Truth.
That means knowing what Christ has done for you in making you a New Creature who is perfect.
The problem any Born Again Christian has with bondage is a soulish resistance to who they are in the spirit.
This resistance is unbelief that all things for life and godliness are already provided for them in their New Spirit.
So, they live out of their corruptible soul instead of their incorruptible spirit.
The solution?
➛ hearing the Truth
➛ surrendering to the Truth.
For a Born Again believer, deliverance is an act of their will , because they have the power to be free in their New Spirit.
