The Jewish Tabernacle, or Mishkan ("dwelling place"), was a portable sanctuary built by the Israelites in the wilderness to house the Ark of the Covenant, acting as God's dwelling place among them.   It served as the central site for sacrifices and worship from the Exodus until the construction of Solomon's Temple.    -- AI The tabernacle and the temple that replaced it are only symbolic of Truth - not the realization of it.   

The tabernacle had 3 sections:
   ➛ Holy Of Holies (most holy place)
   ➛ Holy Place
   ➛ Outer Court

These sections were symbolic of our 3 part design .   
   ➛ Spirit
   ➛ Soul
   ➛ Body

We were created to be the habitation of God - not just His people, not just His children, but One with Him in Spiritual Marriage.   

For God to be One with us (or us One with God) He must occupy
   ➛ our spirit ( Holy Of Holies) and
   ➛ our soul ( Holy Place) and
   ➛ our body ( Outer Court).   

God is a Spirit.   He is the Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus.   So, this occupation that He desires is by His Word Of Truth and His Spirit Of Truth who constitute Truth ← Jesus Christ.   

Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit .   
Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit .   .   
Jesus manifested the Holy Spirit .    .   .   

Jesus is the pattern, our example, the firstfruit, the express image of His Holy Spirit.   
   ➛ in the New Birth we are Spirit Born ( Holy Of Holies)
   ➛ in the Baptism Of The Holy Spirit we are Spirit Filled ( Holy Place)
   ➛ in submitting ourselves as Living Sacrifices we are Spirit Employed ( Outer Court).

Below illustrates how we become the Temple Of God when the Holy Spirit enters our Holy Of Holies in the New Birth and we then allow Him to enter our Holy Place through Spirit Baptism and we then allow Him to enter our Outer Court by submitting our bodies as Living Sacrifices.   

Those who are Born Again allow the Holy Spirit access to their Holy Of Holies.   
Those who are Spirit Baptized allow the Holy Spirit access to their Holy Place.   
Those who submit their bodies as Living Sacrifices allow the Holy Spirit into their Outer Court where He speaks and acts through them.   

The Lord Jesus Christ wants to fill our tabernacle with His Holy Spirit so that we are the Temple Of The Holy Spirit in fact.   
What?     know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have of the Lord, and you are not your own?
We are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus.     

Paul is making it clear that our body should be used by the Holy Spirit.     Our body is corrupted and corruptible so it is just a vehicle for communicating the Gospel.     It will have to be translated to incorruptible at His appearing for it to enter the Kingdom Of Heaven .     

Since you are a New Spirit being In Christ, the challenge is to invert the order of dominance in your life.     
Rather than being motivated by the flesh first, emotions second and spirit third, you should be motivated by the New Spirit which directs your soul which controls your body.     

The Holy Spirit and your New Spirit are one.     

By following the new order of spirit, soul then body, the Holy Spirit is able to direct your life, using your body as His vehicle just as He did our Lord Jesus Christ.     

For this new order to be effected, your mind (soul) must be transformed to the Mind Of Christ.
