Nothing we can say or do while our heart is for Him and our faith is in Him makes a difference to Him as we remain His workmanship which He will eventually perfect at His appearing.   

At the moment, we who are in Christ are perfect in spirit but imperfect in soul and body.   

At His appearing He will instantaneously transform everything in our soul and body from corruptible to incorruptible and from mortal to immortal, thus making us totally and irreversibly perfect.
