Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Joh 5:39 The Bible is inspired but not everything in it is the Word Of The Lord.     Many passages are accounts of what happened and how it was perceived by men.      The spoken Word Of The Lord is contained in the Bible.     Jesus said you must search the scriptures for references to the Christ which testify of Jesus.     It is only in Christ Jesus that we find Eternal Life which is His Holy Spirit.      When we encounter Words in scripture which quicken our mind and body the Holy Spirit is bearing witness of Christ Jesus in that Word.

Prophecies of Jesus` Birth

And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed. Gen 12:3

And the Lord said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed; and you shall call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. Gen 17:19

And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in you and in your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Gen 28:14

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Gen 49:10

And when your days be fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, which shall proceed out of your bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 2Sa 7:12

He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 2Sa 7:13

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isa 7:14 This is the most amazing prophecy ever uttered.      Immanuel means 'God with us'.     This is why Jesus referred to Himself as the Son Of Man rather than the Son Of God.      Jesus is the incarnation of God, not merely His offspring.

When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. Hos 11:1 The plans the Lord had for Israel were based on His love for Israel.

But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Mic 5:2

Prophecies about Jesus` Ministry

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel. Gen 3:15 Since the serpent was obviously possessed by Satan, this prophecy speaks to the conflict between Christ Jesus and the destroyer.

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: Exo 12:5 Christmas, Resurrection.      Christ Jesus was born in Nissan, died in Nissan and rose from the dead in Nissan.

For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honour. Psm 8:5 Though we are born of flesh, the Lord has crowned us with glory and honour by pouring Himseld into us through the baptism of His Holy Spirit.

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; mine ears have you opened: burnt offering and sin offering have you not required. Psm 40:6 The Lord wants faith from us in Him.

I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, you know. Psm 40:9 Jesus did not hold back any of the Truth that His Father gave Him to share.

Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth. Psm 78:1 The Lord instructs us in His Word how to operate successfully in His creation of which we are the major part.      We must hear, believe, receive and do His Word in order to experience Abundant Life.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear you indeed, but understand not; and see you indeed, but perceive not. Isa 6:9

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Isa 8:14

Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. Isa 9:1

And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. Isa 11:10 Our Lord Jesus fulfilled this prophecy and has brought us into His peace that passes understanding.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Isa 35:5

The voice of him that wants in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our Lord. Isa 40:3 A prophecy of John the baptist.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit in him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. Isa 42:1 Jesus is Spirit Filled.     The Holy Spirit Father manifested in the body and etermal Soul ( Word) of Christ Jesus.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of birth pangs, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isa 53:3 The Jewish leadership which consisted of Scribes Pharisees And Hypocrites despised Jesus and plotted against Him from the beginning.      Our Lord`s heart was broken by rejection He endured.     In His brutal death the Jews turned their faces away in a combination of shame and reproach toward Him.

The Holy Spirit is upon me; because He has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; Isa 61:1 The Holy Spirit in Jesus made Him the Christ who preached the Gospel to us.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son Of Man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient Of Days, and they brought him near before him. Dan 7:13 Daniel sees a man coming before the Ancient Of Days and being given power and authority.      How can the eternal Word and the eternal Holy Spirit with a human body be represented in a vision?         ➛ there is the Son Of Man and    ➛ there is the Ancient Of Days    ➛ who exist as One God who is Spirit Soul And Body.      We understand that the Holy Spirit made Himself a body through the virgin Mary.     That body was to accomplish several purposes:    ➛ reveal the Truth about God    ➛ to be the sacrifice for sins    ➛ to be the focal point of worship.

Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. And I said unto them, If you think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear.     So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. Zec 11:12

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: Mal 4:5 The Day Of The Lord begins with the Rapture followed by the Day Of Wrath which will be poured out from above by Jesus who appears in the sky at His Return.

Prophecies about Jesus` Death and Resurrection

Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. Exo 12:21

In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall you break a bone thereof. Exo 12:46

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul. Lev 17:11 Jesus shed His Perfect Blood for our Forgiveness.

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. Num 21:9

Oh that my words were now written!     oh that they were printed in a book! Job 19:23

My Lord, my Lord, why have you forsaken me?     why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? Psm 22:1 This prophetic verse was fulfilled in Mat 27:46 Mar 15:34

He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. Psm 22:8 This prophetic verse was fullfilled in Mat 27:42,43

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. Psm 22:16

They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. Psm 22:18

Into your hand I commit my spirit: you have redeemed me, O Lord of truth. Psm 31:5

I was a reproach among all my enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me. Psm 31:11

For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. Psm 31:13

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Psm 16:9 Our hope is in Jesus and so we rest Him.

Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me. Psm 41:9 Put your trust in the Lord.

You have ascended on high, you have led captivity captive: you have received gifts for men; yes, for the rebellious also, that the Lord might dwell among them. Psm 68:18 Our Lord has accomplished all things for our salvation, our healing and our glory.

They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Psm 69:21 Prophecy of Jesus hanging on the cross.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Psm 118:17 It is extremely important to prophecy over oneself.     Your words release the power of the Lord to effect what what you speak.     - Mat 21:21

And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. Isa 25:7 Blindness to the Creator, Savior, Lord and King will be lifted in the Day Of The Lord.     Every eye will see Him and they will know that Jesus is Lord and will bow to Him confessing His Lordship.

I clothe heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering. Isa 50:3

Prophecies about Jesus` Role in the Church

The Lord your Lord will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken; Deu 18:15 Those who Believe hearken to Christ Jesus.

And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in my heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever. 1Sa 2:35 A Prophecy of Samuel as a type of Christ who will be the Righteous Judge Forever.

But the Lord shall endure for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment. Psm 9:7 Our Lord Jesus Christ is eternal.

And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. Isa 22:22

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon your seed, and my blessing upon your offspring: Isa 44:3 The speaker is pre-incarnate Jesus.      Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our Faith by which our thirst is quenched and we are blessed with Eternal, Abundant Life.

Behold, the days come, says the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:31 The New Covenant is Grace Through Faith.      Why do you make a New Covenant?     Because the Old Covenant was not perfect.         ➛ the Old Covenant was works based.         ➛ the New Covenant is love and mercy based.

Prophecies about Jesus` Return

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Joh 14:3 Jesus is prophesying five things: 1) His death 2) His resurrection 3) His ascension 4) His Holy Spirit infilling 5) His return In His death He made a place for us through forgiveness of sins.     In His resurrection He came again to the disciples showing Himself alive.      In His ascension He took His position at the right hand of power.      In sending the promise of His Holy Spirit, He abides in us who have received Him.      In His return He will receive us physically unto Himself.      Jesus is returning soon!      When He does, the dead will rise, we will be caught up together, transformed from corruptible to incorruptible and so forever be with the Lord!

And then shall appear the sign of the Son Of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son Of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:30

When the Son Of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: Mat 25:31 Jesus will sit on the throne of David in the Millennial Kingdom.

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown. Rev 3:11 Jesus will come quickly.     He will appear in the sky with no notice and every eye will see him.      This does not mean He will come soon as this was written almost 2000 years ago.      What do we have?         ➛ Faith in the Word and    ➛ the presence of the Holy Spirit.      We must dig in because Satan will try to steal our authority and power.     He will use men in positions of political, social and economic power to attack us.      It will be the Word and the Holy Spirit that enables us to stand.

Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book. Rev 22:7 By keeping the sayings of this book we keep Christ Jesus and our future in mind enabling us to face any challenge the enemy throws at us.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Rev 22:12 When Jesus returns we will stand before the Judgment Seat Of Christ to receive rewards for our service to the kingdom.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of the Lord: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:16 The trumpet will herald the appearance of Jesus in the air and the dead and alive In Christ will be caught up to Him..

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Th 4:17 We meet the Lord while He is in the air above the earth and we will never be separated from Him.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1Th 4:18 Comfort, confidence, faith and hope come from rehearsing this truth to the believers.     Jesus will return and we will be changed from corruptible to incorruptible,
