And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. |
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. |
And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. |
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. |
Prophecies about Jesus` Ministry
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. |
Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: |
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. |
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. |

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our Lord. |
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. |
And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. |

They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. |
I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me. |
For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. |
Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. |
They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. |
I clothe heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering. |
Prophecies about Jesus` Role in the Church
The Lord thy the Lord will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; |
And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever. |
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. |
Prophecies about Jesus` Return
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. |
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. |
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. |
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. |
