Most people are in some sort of bondage - mentally, physically or spiritually.   

Christ came to set us free

The Holy Spirit is upon me; because He has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; Isa 61:1 The Holy Spirit in Jesus made Him the Christ who preached the Gospel to us.

He set us free ao that we can once again choose life

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live: Deu 30:19 This verse defines the existential Choice for every person ever born.      Choose God and Live.     Reject God and be Destroyed.

When we receive Christ we are empowered to choose.   

Fear often inhibits our ability to choose.   We prefer the safety of an uncomfortable situation to the unknown.   

Christ repeatedly told us to "fear not".   

If you are living in any kind of bondage, today is the day to be set free.   Choose freedom.   Don't fear.   Trust God.
