In the first occurrence of the word `word` the Lord clarifies His preferred relationship with man.   

After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward. Gen 15:1 The Lord tells Abram to fear not.     He is telling him to get fear our of his life so that only faith remains.      Despite all the blessing that the Lord heaped upon Abram, the Lord Himself was Abram`s great reward.

In the second occurrence of the word `word` the Lord clarifies who the heir of the promise was:

And, behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be your heir; but he that shall come forth out of your own bowels shall be your heir. Gen 15:4 Isaac is promised.

He further clarifies His relationship to us to be communicated among us: 19:61

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psm 12:6 The Word and the Holy Spirit are the most powerful seeds in the universe.     As Joh 1:1 says the Word and the Holy Spirit make up One God.      When a person is Born Again it happens by the Word and Holy Spirit.     But this New Creature is a spiritual infant.      Infants need nourishment to become productive adults.     In the Spirit Realm that nourishment is    ➛ the Word Of The Lord Mat 4:4 and    ➛ the Holy Spirit Jud 1:20.      The Holy Spirit Seed serves to reveal the authority and power of the Word Seed so that those who grow in Grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus 2Pe 3:18 begin to manifest as Sons Of The Holy Spirit Rom 8:19.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psm 19:14 This represents a desire to be in agreement with the Lord.     It is a heart that actually loves the Lord.

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Psm 33:6 Heb 1:3 Col 1:16

How sweet are your words unto my taste!     yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psm 119:103 To love the Word is to love the Lord.     He is His Word and His Holy Spirit.

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. Pro 15:4

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Pro 18:21 Christ Jesus created us in His image Gen 1:27.      He gave us the powers of imagination and speech.      Just as He is life He has given us life.     Just as Christ's words accomplish His will so our words have the power to accomplish our will.      When Christ speaks He speaks in faith, knowing that what He has spoken will be Isa 55:11.      The Holy Spirit Father gives substance to His words Gen 1:2 Zec 4:6.      Jesus made it possible for us to become New Spirit beings Joh 3:5 by His Holy Spirit Joh 4:24.      Jesus made it possible for our body to be filled with His Holy Spirit Joh 20:22 Act 2:4.      As Spirit Filled New Creatures we are One with the Holy Spirit Father Joh 17:11 and therefore have His will as our will Rom 12:2.      In this mature state of faith and relationship we can speak the words of Christ Jesus by His Holy Spirit and see them manifested just as our Lord Jesus did Joh 14:12.

Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What do you? Ecc 8:4 King Jesus speaks and His Holy Spirit power brings it to pass.      Christ Jesus answers to no one.     He is above all.

The Holy Spirit is upon me; because He has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; Isa 61:1 The Holy Spirit in Jesus made Him the Christ who preached the Gospel to us.

But what says it?     The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Rom 10:8 The Word Of Faith is our objective in terms of operating in the Spirit.     Relationship is still paramount but our ability to affect the world is dependent on the Word and our utilization of it by speaking the Word Of Faith, Those who would discount Word Of Faith do not grasp the authority and power delivered to us through Christ Jesus by His Holy Spirit.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of the Lord. Rom 10:17 We are only able to obtain the Faith Of Christ by hearing, believing and receiving His Words.     When we do, He makes us free in the New Birth and gives us His Holy Spirit who takes the Word we know and adds power to it enabling us to do the works that Christ did.      We are totally dependent on reaching people through the Word Of The Lord.     It is the Truth.     It is revelation, It is salvation, It is victory, It is peace, It is love.     It is joy in the Holy Spirit.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?     and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?     and how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:14 Reversing the order we find that:    ➛ a preacher must be sent    ➛ the preacher must preach the Gospel    ➛ the hearer must believe the Gospel    ➛ the believer must call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ    ➛ the Holy Spirit and Word birth them into the kingdom

For after that in the wisdom of the Lord the world by wisdom knew not the Lord, it pleased the Lord by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 1Co 1:21 There is no substitute for preaching the Gospel of Grace Through Faith for the unbeliever to be saved.     It may seem foolish to preach and it may seem foolish to believe but that is the prescription.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Heb 1:3 This is an amazing verse!     Let`s enumerate the points it makes:    ➛ Jesus is the epitome of God`s glory    ➛ Jesus is how God looks    ➛ Jesus holds everything together by the Word of His power    ➛ Jesus has purged all sin by himself    ➛ Jesus is seated at the right hand of Majesty This profound statement speaks to the fact that matter exists and is ordered by the command of the eternal Word by the eternal Spirit.      It explains why science is unable to fathom the essence of matter.     They have reached the point where the energy to inspect the smaller particles moves them (Heisenberg uncertainty principle).      If they were able to keep delving they would find nothing material, only Jesus` spoken Word!      The Holy Spirit is The Majesty.     Jesus is His physical form.     The Majesty is not defined by dimensions.     He is infinite.     Jesus` body is finite but He is the focal point of The Majesty.     We cannot `see` His Holy Spirit in the same way we `see` Jesus.     - Joh 3:8

For the word of the Lord is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb 4:12 The Word of the Lord destroys our Sin Nature and makes us a New Spirit being.         ➛ If we stay in the Word it will transform our minds to the Mind Of Christ.         ➛ If we trust the Word it will heal our bodies.         ➛ By the Word and the Holy Spirit we come to have the thoughts and intents of the Lord so purifying our hearts.      The Word became flesh and dwelt among us Joh 1:14.      Jesus is the Incarnate Word.     To love Jesus is to love His Word.     Those who do not love His Word only love the idea of Jesus.     It is how a man might love a woman's body but care nothing for her spirit and soul.

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2Ti 4:2 This is the order of the day to all believers.     We are to:    ➛ publicly proclaim the Gospel.         ➛ be ready to share the Truth    ➛ reprimand and censure those who sin    ➛ express strong disapproval of evil    ➛ strongly encourage people to receive Christ    ➛ stay within the authority of the scriptures with these actions    ➛ not harangue individuals with the Gospel    ➛ make sure everyone we know hears it from us.

But sanctify the Lord in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 1Pe 3:15 How do we sanctify the Lord in our hearts?      By the washing of water of the Word Eph 5:26.      We are able to give an answer for the reason of our hope by growing in Grace and knowledge our Lord Jesus Christ and by praying in His Holy Spirit.      Our testimony of Jesus Christ should be with power and authority.     This is how Peter spoke on the day of Pentecost.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Truly I say unto you, If you have faith, and doubt not, you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; it shall be done. Mat 21:21 Jesus is speaking an `unbelievable` Truth.     He is telling us that the Lord has made faith available for us to do anything.

The Word Of The Lord is powerful.   When we speak the Word Of The Lord with the authority of the Holy Spirit it accomplishes God`s will.   

We are the Lord`s voice and hands in this age of the world.   If we don`t speak, if we don`t touch, there is no power released to change lives.   

Let Christ manifest through you!   Speak to Him.   Speak of Him.   

When we were unregenerated we were at the mercy of all words whether good or evil.   

The Truth sets us free from the power of words which conflict with the Truth.   

Cruelty, pride, one-up-man-ship and outright hate are not going to disappear.   Our only defense against such is the knowledge of the Truth.   
   ➛ I am accepted in the beloved.   
   ➛ I am complete and secure in Him.   
   ➛ I need no one else`s approval, support or encouragement.
