The word Neutered congers up thoughts of pain followed by lethargy, culminating in Death without progeny.
It is usually associated with Pets who are Neutered to prevent unwanted offspring.
In the past Kings would Neuter their male servants to keep them out of their harems. They were called eunuchs.
In recent times the practice of Neutering has become a way for couples to eliminate the possibility of unwanted children.
But that`s not what I want to talk about.
I want to talk about being Spiritually Neutered.
What does it mean to be Spiritually Neutered ?
Satan`s first strategy is to steal. He does not want us to experience all that Christ has provided. He does not want us to Trust the Word of God. He uses logic and counter-example to engender Doubt. He knows that we receive everything from God by Faith.
Many Christians for many years were taught that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was only for the early church. The amazing thing is that satan used preachers to effectively strip Believers of the Power and Fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
We have sung the song, "There`s Power in the Blood", which is true, but we have ignored the Power of the Holy Spirit and we have ignored the Power of Christ`s broken body.
We have also been told that it is Christian to be Tolerant. We have been encouraged to keep our Faith to ourselves.
The above Lies and false teachings have resulted in Christians effectively being Neutered.
It is high time for us to go back to our first love and to our first works.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
The Word of God and the infilling of the Holy Spirit will rejuvenate us.
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
We will see the Spirit Fruit and Spirit Gifts manifested. We will see unbelievers respond to the Power of the Gospel once again.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater Works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
