Title: In the Name Of Jesus using His name as the correct form of address

The following is from In My Name
Jesus is the name of God.

God is Spirit Soul And Body manifested in our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is One.

Jesus is One.

Jesus' name is above every name.

We are to use His name when referring to our God.
And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
`Whatsoever` has no bounds, no limits.
Can you, will you believe what Jesus says here?

Jesus wants us to ask for whatever we desire using His name.
Why in His name?
It is only polite to speak to God using His name.
It demonstrates our faith in Jesus as God, our provider.

When we ask in the name of Jesus, He will fulfill our desire glorifying His Heavenly Father.

How does answered prayer glorify our Heavenly Father?
Jesus is the express image of His Holy Spirit Father.
It is by the power of His Holy Spirit Father that this promise is kept.

Think about how asking and not receiving actually denigrates our Heavenly Father.       It makes Him appear unconcerned, unloving.

Jesus was the original faith preacher.       So, when He makes a statement like this, He assumes you have taken to heart His command:
Have Holy Spirit faith!

Faith is not something we conjure up.       It comes by hearing believing and receiving the Word Of The Lord.

When we hear, believe and receive the Word, the Holy Spirit in us can manifest His fruit of supernatural faith, which can accomplish anything .

Get into the Word until you have faith in it.       Then when you speak the Word it will accomplish our Lord`s purpose by His Holy Spirit .

If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
What a promise!

Christ Jesus has signed a blank check for us.       By faith we fill the check in and cash it.

Do you believe the Word Of The Lord?
If so, meditate on this verse until you are convinced of the totality of our Father`s love and the magnificence of Christ`s provision for us by Grace Through Faith.

Who is the one that we ask?       The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Who is talking here?       Jesus is a physical being.       He is no longer on earth.       How can He be in the midst of two or three people in New York and in the midst of two or three people in California at the same time?

Jesus, the man, is speaking the Words of Jesus, the Holy Spirit.

Understanding that Jesus is the name of His Holy Spirit Father is critical to understanding the nature of our God who is Spirit Soul And Body manifested in our Lord Jesus Christ.

So, when Jesus says He will be in our midst, He is talking about His Holy Spirit Father.       In Jesus` Name we are unified by the Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus.

Whoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receives me: and whoever shall receive me, receives not me, but him that sent me.
Jesus is telling us that children belong to the Lord and ought to be nurtured to become believers.       In so doing, the one who nurtures is showing how they have received Christ which is to receive the Holy Spirit.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
Jesus rebukes denominationalism.       Believers in Christ are of One body.

For whoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you belong to Christ, truly I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
The Lord takes note of how His disciples are treated, rewarding accordingly.

Anyone who does anything for a person ministering for Christ Jesus partakes in their ministry.

And said unto them, Whoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
We must operate in love in order to be received.

And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Who is the one that we ask?       The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

But the Comforter, who is my Holy Spirit Father, will come in my name, and shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The name of the Holy Spirit Father is Jesus because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus .

Jesus is instructing His disciples about the source of the Word - His Holy Spirit.       Jesus spoke by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.       When the Holy Spirit is in us, we can speak His Words by His inspiration and authority.

The Holy Spirit comforts us and teaches us and reminds us of the specific scriptures to meet the situation at hand.

No self confidence, no education, no intelligence can make up for the lack of the Holy Spirit involvement in our lives and work.

You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Jesus directly called the 12.

Were you directly called?       Not until you heard the Gospel.       When you heard the Gospel the Holy Spirit revealed to you that it is Truth.       This is the calling that we receive.       Our response to it seals our being chosen.

The 12 had to follow Jesus in order to seal their calling and be chosen.

The Holy Spirit is given to us to empower us to ask and receive, to bear fruit, and to live in Christ`s authority.

And in that day you shall ask me nothing.       Truly, truly, I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Jesus is telling us to refer to His Holy Spirit Father using His name, Jesus.       That is because the Holy Spirit Father is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.

That day to which Jesus is referring is the day of Pentecost when His Holy Spirit came to dwell in us.

The Holy Spirit is Christ in us the hope of glory .

Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Up to this point the disciples hsd spoken to God as YHVH, referring to Him as Lord.       Now, Jesus tells His disciples to speak to YHVH using the name Jesus.

In the Name Of Jesus is literally using the name, Jesus .

The Lord wants us to be joyful.       The second fruit of His Holy Spirit is joy.       Expect it, claim it and walk in it.       It is part of your inheritance in Christ Jesus.

At that day you shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
The disciples` dependency on the physical body of Jesus was being broken.       He is now directing the disciples to His Holy Spirit Father who will give us what we ask .
