First occurrence
And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the Lord had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.

And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The Goodness of the New Covenant - Barry Bennett
Some remain stuck in the mindset of the Old Covenant curses, or Job’s ignorance, and never fully understand the glory of the New Covenant, the new creation, and the goodness of God for His children.

We can continue to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (curses, judgement, loss, suffering, etc).   or we can eat from the Tree of Life ( Jesus).   Here are some New Covenant truths, promises and declarations that should be the foundation of our faith.
Glory to the Lord in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation).

For the Son Of Man is not come to destroy men`s lives, but to save them.     And they went to another village.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.     In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Holy Spirit Creator of truth and beauty, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

How the Holy Spirit Father anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for the Holy Spirit was in him.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give good things to them that ask him?

For the Holy Spirit so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that the Holy Spirit Father is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

These are just a few of the many declarations found in the New Covenant that should form the basis of our faith.   God is good!
