For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Rom 10:13 What is the `name of the Lord`?     Jesus.      What does it mean to `call upon the name of the Lord`?     It means to come to the Creator calling Him by His name, Jesus, to plea for salvation.      God is just the generic name for deity.      Calling upon God will not save anyone.      Jesus is the express image of the only true and living God.     It is only in the name, Jesus, that anyone is saved.         ➛ Jesus is the name of His Holy Spirit Father.      Understanding this gives real meaning to this important verse which declares the power of salvation in the name of Jesus.      When a person acknowledges that Jesus is Lord by calling on His name, His Holy Spirit performs the work of salvation in the heart of the caller.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Act 4:12 This means that all other religions are false.     They do not lead to the Lord Jesus Christ our Creator and Saviour.      This is not a Politically Correct verse, but the Lord does not concern Himself with man`s politics or his opinions.      God came to earth and we call Him Jesus.      To deny Jesus is to deny God.      To deny Jesus who is the Truth is to deny the Truth and so believe a lie.      For this reason we are to preach the Gospel to every creature throughout the world Mar 16:15.      Christianity has taken a very narrow view and understanding of salvation, limiting it to the spirit of man that is renewed by faith in Christ Jesus.      Jesus did not talk about or deal exclusively with eternity.     He dealt with the Human Condition in the Physical Realm by healing, by delivering, by teaching and, when necessary, by feeding the hungry.     So, we need to understand that Christ came to make us whole in every aspect of our existence.

And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 20:15 Everyone who rejects Christ Jesus will be cast into the Lake Of Fire.      Rejecting Christ Jesus is the Unpardonable Sin.

      For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of the Holy Spirit is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:23 The sin that condemns to the Lake Of Fire is rejection of Jesus Christ Joh 3:18.      The gift of the Lord Jesus is His own Eternal Life, which is relationship with His Holy Spirit Joh 5:26.      There are two types of death:    ➛ physical death Heb 9:27    ➛ spiritual death Rev 21:8.      Adam and Eve did not immediately die physically when they sinned.     However, they immediately died spiritually Gen 2:17.      When a person sins, whether believer or unbeliever, the result is an aspect of death.     Somethings shrinks or shrivels instead of growing when sin occurs Joh 10:10.      Jesus gives us His life.      What is His life?         ➛ His Holy Spirit Joh 1:4.      Eternal Life is another name for His Holy Spirit.      To reject the Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is to reject Christ Jesus Himself Joh 8:19 Act 7:51.      We don`t receive Jesus when we believe on Him.     Rather, we receive His Holy Spirit in the Name Of Jesus who manifests Eternal Life in and through us Joh 3:5 1Jn 4:2.      The Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is who will raise us at Christ`s return Rom 8:11.      The gift of Himself is irrevokable Joh 14:16.      However, if we let sin reign in our mortal bodies we will suffer the consequences of that sin destroying our physical lives, our testimonies and our walk with the Lord Col 1:10.      Instead of us living a victorious, productive life with treasure laid up in heaven, we will be saved as by fire 1Cor 5:5.

      Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed. 1Pe 2:24 Jesus` perfect finished work has made us the righteousness of His Holy Spirit.     His broken and beaten body has healed us.

      The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Joh 10:10 The thief is Satan who is the inspiration for all the evil in the world.      Whereas the `I` is Jesus who offers us Eternal Life and Abundant Life.      This verse is a powerful statement contrasting the nature of the enemy with the nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.      Note that the enemy takes by force what is ours, while we must appropriate by faith what is ours in Christ Jesus.      The appropriation is not a `one and done` thing.     Rather, it is an ongoing process throughout our lives on this earth.      Jesus has given us His life in giving us His Holy Spirit who is in every believer who has asked to be filled.     We aught to invoke His life into every aspect of our walk in the earth.

      The Holy Spirit is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1Co 1:9 The Holy Spirit willed Joh 3:16 for us to be in fellowship with Him Rom 8:30 and so He did what was necessary from His end to make it possible - He made Himself a body Mat 1:20 and paid the price for us In Christ Jesus Heb 9:22 and so reconciled us to Himself 2Co 5:19.      Then, He drew us to Himself by hearing the Gospel Gal 3:2 which revealed the Truth to us In Christ Jesus Joh 6:44.      Now, through faith in Christ Jesus we have eternal oneness Joh 17:22 with His Holy Spirit in whom we live and who lives in us Rom 8:11.

      But if we walk in the light of the Holy Spirit, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1Jn 1:7 This verse emphasizes the criticality of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus.         ➛ He provides light    ➛ He promotes fellowship    ➛ He applies His blood to us    ➛ He cleanses us of sin    ➛ He removes guilt and condemnation Jesus was manifested to serve the purpose of His Holy Spirit which is to enable us to be reconciled to Him.      Our fellowship with the Holy Spirit is totally dependent on our recognizing and honoring Him as the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.      Once we hear, believe and receive the Truth about the Holy Spirit as manifested in His body called Jesus, we enter into the Eternal Life of fellowship with Him.

      Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Mat 7:12 This is the Golden Rule which enables civilization.

      But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Mat 5:44 This is impossible for human beings by Human Love.     Jesus is saying that He loves everyone and that is the righteous position.      Only the love of the Holy Spirit can enable you to Love Your Enemy in the right way.      It is important to note that Jesus loved His enemies enough to die for them.      But He also    ➛ rebuked them Mat 23:29,    ➛ called them names Mat 3:7,    ➛ warned them of perishing except they repent Luk 13:3 and    ➛ ultimately rejected them that rejected Him Mat 12:41,42 Rom 11:25.      We need to discern the difference between a lost person who is our enemy and a reprobate person who is our enemy.     A lost person should hear the mercy of Christ from us.     The reprobate person should hear the judgment of Christ from us.

• Who is Salvation for?   

  For the Holy Spirit so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Joh 3:16 The Holy Spirit is the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Creator of all things by the Word.      What world is John speaking of?         ➛ The earth and all the people born into humanity.      The Holy Spirit is love and love is of the Holy Spirit.      The world was created by our Lord and it is good.     We know that man chose rebellion against the Holy Spirit and so humanity became evil.     But the Holy Spirit loves the people of this world and so He birthed Christ Jesus into the world to redeem it and us.      The Gospel is heard and those who are hungry are lead by the Holy Spirit to believe and receive the Truth.      The Truth sets us free from sin, from death and hell and brings us to Eternal Life by the infilling of the Holy Spirit.      Here is understanding:    ➛ Everlasting Life is Eternal Life    ➛ Eternal Life is union with the Holy Spirit.

  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.     And let him that hears say, Come.     And let him that is athirst come.     And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Rev 22:17 A final call to those who have not hardened their hearts to His love and Grace.     The Water Of Life is the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ who is given freely to whosoever asks.      The Body Of Christ is the Bride Of Christ who extends the invitation by the Holy Spirit for all to come.         ➛ We preach the Gospel    ➛ the Holy Spirit draws believers to Himself.

• How is Salvation received?   

  For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of the Holy Spirit: Eph 2:8 We are saved because the Holy Spirit willed it Heb 8:12 and made it possible and legal through the shed blood of Jesus Christ Heb 10:10.      Salvation is totally an act of His unmerited favor - Grace.     Our part is to have faith in His Word - the Written Word and the Incarnate Word Act 16:31.      We have all been given The Measure Of Faith Rom 12:3.      It is that gift of faith than enables us to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ through whom we receive Grace 2Pe 1:3.      Once we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, the Faith Of Christ which is a fruit of His Holy Spirit provides all the benefits of Grace Rom 5:2.      The Faith Of Christ is the foundation of Grace Rom 5:19.      We are not supposed to trust in our faith but, rather, trust in the Faith Of Christ - the faith that is the fruit of the Holy Spirit Phi 2:8-11.

  That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that His Holy Spirit has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Rom 10:9 This is the encapsulation of Grace, clearly pointing out our part which is faith in Jesus and confession of Him as risen Lord and Saviour.      The implication of our part being to believe on Jesus Christ and confess Him as risen Lord, is that He has done everything else!      It is why we call it amazing Grace!      It is why the gospel is nearly too good to be true!      Who raised Jesus from the dead?      He raised Himself Joh 10:17,18 by His Holy Spirit Rom 8:11.

• Is there any other route to Salvation ?   

  Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Holy Spirit Father, but by me. Joh 14:6 Jesus introduces the sandwich prayer - praise, petition, praise.      Isn't it interesting that Christians have been praying this prayer for 2000 years and yet most Christians do not know the name of the Holy Spirit Father?      Oh yes, some Christians will give you a litany of names from the Old Testament, especially YHVH, but still refer to Him as God (which is just a title) or Father which is just a role.      When Jesus spoke these words to His disciples He was leading them to a monumental Truth.     They were still trying to understand who this man was.     So, He could not have held on to them if He told them that the name of the Father was Jesus and that the Father was standing before them and speaking to them.      So, Jesus instructs them to pray to the Father and hallow His 'name' without telling them the Father's name.     The disciples like Christians today either assumed the 'name' to be YHWH or Lord or God.      It was only at the end of His ministry, before going to the cross, that Jesus told them who He is, who the Father is and what the Father's name is Joh 14:6-14 though He had laid down many hints.     Joh 1:18 Joh 5:37 Joh 10:30.      We are to refer to the Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus using His name which is Jesus.     We are to ask the Holy Spirit Father for what we need using the name of Jesus Joh 14:13 Joh 15:16 Joh 16:23.

  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of Majesty. Heb 12:2 Faith is a power that our Lord Jesus Christ created which enables us to function as Joint Heirs of His Kingdom.         ➛ as author He created faith    ➛ as finisher He empowers faith This verse speaks to the mechanism of the Spirit Realm that enables ultimate victory as demonstrated by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.      We are New Creatures, New Spirit beings, who are to operate as Sons Of God.      How do we 'look' to Jesus?         ➛ we hear His Word    ➛ we believe His Word    ➛ our Minds are conformed to His Word    ➛ we are filled with His Holy Spirit    ➛ we abide in His Word and Spirit    ➛ His Word and Spirit abide in us When we 'look' to Jesus in this way we manifest as Sons Of God who are able to do all things by Him and through Him.     This includes endurance by patience with the assurance of ultimate victory.      The faith domain extends beyond the basics which are taught in nominal Christian circles    ➛ the virgin birth of Jesus    ➛ His healings and miracles    ➛ His death    ➛ His resurrection    ➛ His ascension The domain of faith is the Spirit Realm by which and in which all things exist through our Creator Heb 1:2,3.

• How is Salvation manifested?   

  Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Phi 2:12 Paul is speaking to Soul Salvation which enables us to experience Abundant Life in the soul and body and to be effective witnesses of Christ Jesus.         ➛ Soul Salvation must be worked out by us.         ➛ Spirit Salvation is the gift of the Holy Spirit by faith In Christ Jesus.

  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Eph 4:23 The spirit of a person is the motivator of that person.     It is the inspiration of that person.      The mind is that part of a person which gains, stores and processes information.     It is by default only affected by the 5 senses.      In the New Birth we receive a new, perfect spirit.     This is Spirit Salvation.      But our mind still holds the same information, opinions and tendencies it did before we were Born Again.      In order to experience the benefits of Abundant Life our minds must be transformed, renewed so that the Mind Of Christ in our New Spirit takes over our mind.      The Word and the Holy Spirit are the ingredients which enable our minds to be transformed.     But we must expose our minds to the Word and we must surrender our minds to the Holy Spirit in Prayer Language for this to happen.      To the extent we do this, our minds are renewed and we experience Soul Salvation.      Our minds will never be completely transformed in this life.     We press toward the mark Phi 3:14.      At the return of Christ the corruptible will put on incorruption and our Soul Salvation will be complete 1Co 15:50-54.

  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Phi 2:5 Jesus wants us to be like Him.     After all, He created us in His image Gen 1:26.      He chided His disciples when they did not measure up to their potential.     `Oh you of litte faith, why are you so fearful` Mar 4:40.      Jesus made it possible for us to be accepted by His Holy Spirit through His blood sacrifice Eph 1:6.      Once cleansed He made it possible for us to receive His Holy Spirit Luk 24:49.      The Holy Spirit of Christ is who raised Christ Jesus from the dead Rom 8:11.      He told us that greater deeds would we do as a result of receiving that gift Joh 14:12.      But, in order for us to realize our potential we must `realize our potential` 1Jn 3:2.      As we think in our hearts so are we Pro 23:7.      For me or you to reach our potential in Christ we must believe what He said about us to the extent that we allow it to transform our thoughts, words and deeds Rom 12:2.      The Mind Of Christ is achieved by knowingly and willingly being transformed by the Word and Holy Spirit Phi 2:5.      We must desire to have the Mind Of Christ and we must feed on what He fed on to arrive at the same place He did Mat 5:6.      Jesus said the Kingdom Of Heaven is at hand when He walked the earth Mat 4:17.      In the Word and Holy Spirit we can manifest heaven on earth Mat 12:28.      It is His will but is it yours?     Eph 3:20

  Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:28 Christ Jesus is our redeemer, our Saviour, our healer, our rest, our victory, our resurrection, our life and our future.     He is Mighty God!         ➛ We come to Jesus by believing His Words.         ➛ We receive His rest when we receive His Holy Spirit.      There is no other name under heaven whereby we may be saved.      All power in heaven and earth belongs to the One giving this invitation.      This loving God is the Righteous Judge.

  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2Pe 3:9 The Holy Spirit is love and His love is manifest in Christ who made it possible for us to be born of His Holy Spirit and so be In Christ.      But, He gives us the choice between life and death.     When a person receives Christ Jesus they receive Eternal Life.     When a person rejects Christ Jesus they enter into Eternal Death against the Lord`s will.      This verse totally undermines the false doctrine of Extreme Sovereignty.     We do not see all men coming to repentance so the Lord`s will is not done with respect to every human being.

  For the Holy Spirit so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Joh 3:16 The Holy Spirit is the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Creator of all things by the Word.      What world is John speaking of?         ➛ The earth and all the people born into humanity.      The Holy Spirit is love and love is of the Holy Spirit.      The world was created by our Lord and it is good.     We know that man chose rebellion against the Holy Spirit and so humanity became evil.     But the Holy Spirit loves the people of this world and so He birthed Christ Jesus into the world to redeem it and us.      The Gospel is heard and those who are hungry are lead by the Holy Spirit to believe and receive the Truth.      The Truth sets us free from sin, from death and hell and brings us to Eternal Life by the infilling of the Holy Spirit.      Here is understanding:    ➛ Everlasting Life is Eternal Life    ➛ Eternal Life is union with the Holy Spirit.

  And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mar 16:15 This is the Great Commission.     It is still in force.     We are expected to carry the Gospel to every creature.      Jesus did not expect every person to believe, but He wants us to make sure all nations hear the Gospel as it is a criteria for His return.     Mat 24:14

  Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the One who begets, even the One begotten, who is the Holy Spirit Father Mat 28:19 In the preceding verse Jesus categorically states that He is God by assuming all power in the universe.     In this verse He identifies the eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent Creator God who is Spirit by His name, Jesus.         ➛ Jesus is Lord.         ➛ Jesus is the Express Image of the Holy Spirit Father    ➛ Jesus is the One and Only True And Living God.      We are to teach all nations.     What do we teach?      The Gospel of Jesus Christ - the Gospel of the Truth about God.      What is the key component of the Gospel?     That Jesus is the Truth about our Creator.      What is the Truth?     That Jesus is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.      Note that name is singular - there is only one name and that is Jesus.      But how can Jesus be the Father and the Son?     To understand this we must know who the Father is.     He is the Holy Spirit.      Jesus said `I and my Father are One`.     This means that the Holy Spirit Father is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.     Jesus spoke through the prophets about Himself by His Holy Spirit.     He then became the person He prophesied about - Jesus.      Jesus fathered Himself by His Holy Spirit, just as He raised Himself from the dead by His Holy Spirit.      So, rather than talking about some confusing trinitarian circular logic involving a three-in-one godhead, we aught to recognize    ➛ that Jesus is the Name Of The Father,    ➛ that Jesus is the Name Of The Son and    ➛ that Jesus is the Name Of The Holy Spirit.      The name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is Jesus.      Jesus instructed us to use His name when speaking to His Holy Spirit Father in us.     He said `ask the Father in my name`.     Referring to a person by name adds precision and honor to the address.      Our Creator is Spirit Soul And Body just as we are who were created in His image.      Jesus is Lord!      Be Baptized In The Name Of Jesus Christ Act 8:12 Act 8:16 Act 19:5

  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that the Lord is no respecter of persons: Act 10:34 To be a respecter of persons implies that one is unjust.     It is impossible for the Lord to be unjust.     He is holy and perfect in all His ways.      The concept of Chosen People is perverse.     Abraham believed the Lord and the Lord rewarded His faith with a promise that His seed would be blessed.     And that one particular seed would bless all the nations of the earth.     That seed is Christ Jesus.      Hebrews are blessed as long as they operate in faith, just as gentiles.

  For there is no respect of persons with the Holy Spirit. Rom 2:11 The Holy Spirit sees us In Christ or out of Christ.     No other characteristics are important.

  Whoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father who is in heaven. Mat 10:32 Our confession of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord is critical for the New Birth.

  And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Act 2:21 The `name of the Lord` is Jesus    ⇒ Jesus Is Lord Christ Jesus has forgiven and remitted all sin for all mankind for all time.      But each person must come to grips with the fact that they need to receive that forgiveness by calling upon the Name Of Jesus.     In so doing they escape death and enter into eternal, abundant life.

  For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Rom 10:13 What is the `name of the Lord`?     Jesus.      What does it mean to `call upon the name of the Lord`?     It means to come to the Creator calling Him by His name, Jesus, to plea for salvation.      God is just the generic name for deity.      Calling upon God will not save anyone.      Jesus is the express image of the only true and living God.     It is only in the name, Jesus, that anyone is saved.         ➛ Jesus is the name of His Holy Spirit Father.      Understanding this gives real meaning to this important verse which declares the power of salvation in the name of Jesus.      When a person acknowledges that Jesus is Lord by calling on His name, His Holy Spirit performs the work of salvation in the heart of the caller.

  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.     And let him that hears say, Come.     And let him that is athirst come.     And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Rev 22:17 A final call to those who have not hardened their hearts to His love and Grace.     The Water Of Life is the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ who is given freely to whosoever asks.      The Body Of Christ is the Bride Of Christ who extends the invitation by the Holy Spirit for all to come.         ➛ We preach the Gospel    ➛ the Holy Spirit draws believers to Himself.

  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.     I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Rev 22:16 Jesus affirms His authorship of the things that the angel shared with John.
