Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Holy Spirit Father, but by me. Jesus introduces the sandwich prayer - praise, petition, praise. Isn't it interesting that Christians have been praying this prayer for 2000 years and yet most Christians do not know the name of the Holy Spirit Father? Oh yes, some Christians will give you a litany of names from the Old Testament, especially YHVH, but still refer to Him as God (which is just a title) or Father which is just a role. When Jesus spoke these words to His disciples He was leading them to a monumental Truth. They were still trying to understand who this man was. So, He could not have held on to them if He told them that the name of the Father was Jesus and that the Father was standing before them and speaking to them. So, Jesus instructs them to pray to the Father and hallow His 'name' without telling them the Father's name. The disciples like Christians today either assumed the 'name' to be YHWH or Lord or God. It was only at the end of His ministry, before going to the cross, that Jesus told them who He is, who the Father is and what the Father's name is though He had laid down many hints. . We are to refer to the Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus using His name which is Jesus. We are to ask the Holy Spirit Father for what we need using the name of Jesus . |

- How is Salvation maintained?
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of Majesty. |
- How is Salvation manifested?
Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. |
- Jesus
Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Holy Spirit Father, but by me. Jesus introduces the sandwich prayer - praise, petition, praise. Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the One who begets, even the One begotten, who is the Holy Spirit Father In the preceding verse Jesus categorically states that He is God by assuming all power in the universe. In this verse He identifies the eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent Creator God who is Spirit by His name, Jesus. ➛ Jesus is Lord. ➛ Jesus is the Express Image of the Holy Spirit Father ➛ Jesus is the One and Only True And Living God. We are to teach all nations. What do we teach? The Gospel of Jesus Christ - the Gospel of the Truth about God. What is the key component of the Gospel? That Jesus is the Truth about our Creator. What is the Truth? That Jesus is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Note that name is singular - there is only one name and that is Jesus. But how can Jesus be the Father and the Son? To understand this we must know who the Father is. He is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said `I and my Father are One`. This means that the Holy Spirit Father is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus. Jesus spoke through the prophets about Himself by His Holy Spirit. He then became the person He prophesied about - Jesus. Jesus fathered Himself by His Holy Spirit, just as He raised Himself from the dead by His Holy Spirit. So, rather than talking about some confusing trinitarian circular logic involving a three-in-one godhead, we aught to recognize ➛ that Jesus is the Name Of The Father, ➛ that Jesus is the Name Of The Son and ➛ that Jesus is the Name Of The Holy Spirit. The name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is Jesus. Jesus instructed us to use His name when speaking to His Holy Spirit Father in us. He said `ask the Father in my name`. Referring to a person by name adds precision and honor to the address. Our Creator is Spirit Soul And Body just as we are who were created in His image. Jesus is Lord! Be Baptized In The Name Of Jesus Christ |
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that the Lord is no respecter of persons: |
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. |

Day of Visitation
One aspect of Ministry , whether it be teaching, preaching, witnessing, etc., is that no one comes to God on their own. It is by invitation Only. The Word must be planted and the Spirit must germinate it. When that happens an individual may Choose to accept the invitation or not.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brothers, what shall we do? |
The day of visitation is that moment when the Spirit reveals the Truth of the Word to an individual.
By taking the Word of the Gospel which the sinner has heard the Holy Spirit produces conviction. For a Believer Confession is the response to the conviction. The response of the Holy Spirit to Confession is the conversion of the Believer ( New Birth).
I have determined that there are two levels of Salvation: Spirit Salvation and Soul Salvation.
Conflating the two into one `salvation` has resulted in confusion, condemnation and division in the Church.
Follow the links on Spirit Salvation and Soul Salvation for more information but simply put, Spirit Salvation is what happens at the New Birth with a person receiving the GIFT of Eternal Life by virtue of being Born of the Holy Spirit into a New Creature. Soul Salvation is a process which is totally dependent on the application of the Word and the Holy Spirit in a Born Again person`s life. Soul Salvation occurs as the Mind is Renewed and Transformed into the Mind Of Christ.
Whether or not and to what extent a person`s Mind is Transformed to the Mind Of Christ is completely independent of their Eternal Destiny!
If you cannot grasp this point, you will eventually find evidence to send every Born Again Christian to Hell. And that is what many have done in their hearts to the glee of Satan.
Soul Salvation is necessary for a person to experience Abundant Life and to be an effective Witness for Christ Jesus. It is also necessary for a Born Again Christian to avoid the Consequences of Sin which tend toward loss, suffering and death.
The scriptures tell us that no one can say that Jesus is the Christ except by the Holy Spirit . That means a person who makes the heart-felt confession that Jesus is the Christ acknowledging that the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead is born again spiritually .
That has only a little to do with Soul Salvation which involves the transformation of one`s mind by the Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit . This involves many levels of repentance as one grows in Grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ .
We should not be quick to judge shallow, carnal-minded believers undermining their faith. Rather, we should edify them by pointing out that they cannot experience the abundant life walking in the flesh .
How do we get our soul saved? By holding fast to our faith until death or the return of Christ at which time all corruption will put on incorruption for those raised by His Holy Spirit .
All we can do in the meantime is to press toward the mark . As Paul, said we do not attain that which only Christ can perform in us . We are awaiting the completion of our redemption at His appearing . | |
