The Rapture Theory

Pre-trib Rapture Why speculate?   Why not see what Jesus said about it:

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the temple. Mat 24:1 Good architecture is impressive.     It is amazing what men can do with their hands.

And Jesus said unto them, See you not all these things?     truly I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Mat 24:2 This prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be?     and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world? Mat 24:3 Three questions in one:    ➛ when will the temple be destroyed?     Mat 24:15-20.         ➛ what is the sign of the return of Christ?     Mat 24:4-14.         ➛ what is the sign of the End Of The Age?     Mat 24:21-28.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Mat 24:4 Deception will be the hallmark of the end of the age.      Before we need to know anything else about the future we need to be aware of deceivers.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mat 24:5 False teachers in the name of Christ will deceive many.

And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Mat 24:6 There have been many wars but the end is not yet.      Any time theire is a war people begin to think about their future, their death and eternity.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places. Mat 24:7 Lust for power never goes away.     Natural disasters will destroy human lives.

All these are the beginning of birth pangs. Mat 24:8 But wars and natural disasters are only the beginning.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name`s sake. Mat 24:9 Persecution for Christ`s sake will arise and intensify.     hatred against Christians will spawn torment and death.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Mat 24:10 Shallow Christians will attempt to save their lives by turning in other Christians.     To do so they must hate those they turn in.     why?     Because the shallow Christians will seek to save their lives.     Those In Christ will be offensive to the government and will bring government wrath upon all Christians.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Mat 24:11 False prophets will claim they have a message from the Lord but will prophecy things that conflict with the Word,

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Mat 24:12 Wickedness and iniquity will be (is) so prevalent that many will fall away from their love relationship with the Lord and with fellow Christians.      This happens when a believer becomes offended at the Word Mat 13:21.      Specifically, when iniquity shows up in a family member of a believer, they will seek to justify the iniquity.     In so doing, they turn their backs on the Lord (His Word), the source of love and fellowship by His Holy Spirit.      Can two walk together except they be agreed?     Amo 3:3.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mat 24:13 Enduring the times, the wickedness, the iniquity, the attempts at deceit, the falling away, the persecution is proof that a believer has been converted.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Mat 24:14 The good news of the Kingdom Of God will be preached throughout the world before the end comes.      Jesus stipulates that the End Of The Age will not come until the Gospel is preached all over the world.

When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:) Mat 24:15 It is likely that verses Mat 24:15-20.      are speaking to the destruction of the temple in 70 AD and not to the end of the age.     The temple is a fixture of the Old Covenant.     There is no Jewish temple today.      It is important to note that the Body Of Christ is the Temple of the Holy Spirit.     The Lord is no longer concerned about buildings (if He ever was).      This verse is telling us to watch for the rise of the Spirit Of Antichrist identified by its legitimization of abominations.     These abominations will automatically bring about the destruction (or desolation) of the Antichrist Kingdom.      When we see wickedness in High Places ( Seven Mountains) we are to stand in the Word and Holy Spirit - the holy place.     Our redemption is at hand.

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Mat 24:16 Leave the populated areas.     This specifically deals with the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem.

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Mat 24:17 Make no physical preparations - just leave Jerusalem.

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. Mat 24:18 Forget your possessions, save your lives from the Roman soldiers.

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mat 24:19 It will be an especially hard time for women looking forward to having their child and raising them.     This pertains to the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem.

But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: Mat 24:20 Fleeing the populated areas can be especially torturous during the winter and holidays.     This pertains to the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Mat 24:21 This begins His answer to the question: `What is the sign of your coming?` The Great Tribulation will make travel and commerce difficult.     Especially for those who have not received the mark, name or number of the beast.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect`s sake those days shall be shortened. Mat 24:22 The destruction of Jerusalem, as terrible as it was, was localised.     It did not represent a world-wide cataclysm as John sees in his Revelation.      Also, note that He says `no flesh would be saved`.     This indicates a world-wide Great Tribulation.      Note that the things that happen during the Great Tribulation are not caused by the Lord.      The Lord cuts the days short to save humanity, specifically the elect.      If He were the cause of the Great Tribulation He could just stop it The Holy Spirit Father will send Christ Jesus back in order to save humanity from total destruction.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. Mat 24:23 There will be no secred appearance of Christ.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Mat 24:24 Signs and wonders should not be followed as there will be satanically empowered false christs and prophets going after those In Christ.

Behold, I have told you before. Mat 24:25 Jesus had apparently taught them on other occasions what would transpire at the End Of The Age.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. Mat 24:26 When Jesus returns you will not have to go anywhere or do anything.     Don`t believe those who say you should.

For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son Of Man be. Mat 24:27 Physical lightening is visible for miles.     The brightness of His coming will illuminate the whole earth instantly.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Mat 24:28 The earth is effectively dead under wickedness and rebellion.     The angels come    ➛ to gather the wheat unto the Lord and    ➛ to gather the tares for burning.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Mat 24:29 The Day Of The Lord has come.      The stars that fall from heaven are likely fallen angels as it says the powers of the heavens are shaken.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son Of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son Of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:30 Jesus will appear and the people of the earth will be terrified recognizing that their Godless, hedonistic mortal lives are over.     His appearance will be so spectacular that there is no hope of resisting Him.     Mourning indicates sorrow and grief for their loss.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mat 24:31 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of the Lord: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.     - 1Th 4:16,17.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: Mat 24:32 The fig tree represents israel and its leaves indicate it is reaching the point to bear fruit.

So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Mat 24:33 We ought to recognize the signs of the times from what Christ has just told us.

Truly I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Mat 24:34 The destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.     and the Great Tribulation will occur in this age of the world - before the End Of The Age and the Millennial Kingdom.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Mat 24:35 The Word Of The Lord is guaranteed to stand until it is all fulfilled.

But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Mat 24:36 The return of Christ is dependent on how the church affects the world for Christ.     The Holy Spirit Father is in the world dealing with mankind and will respond to what the church allows to happen in the earth by calling Christ Jesus to come.

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son Of Man be. Mat 24:37 More signs of the end of the age.      The wickednesss of the people of Noah`s day was unimaginable until the past few years.     We now see all kinds of sexual perversion, gender-bending, bestiality and child-trafficking.     We see lawlessness and wickedness in High Places that is going unchecked.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, Mat 24:38 Preoccupation with gluttony and sexuality mark those periods when destruction comes.

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son Of Man be. Mat 24:39 A conviction that things will continue on as they always have will cause the world to be in shock at His appearing.      Millions of people laugh at those who believe these Words and speak them.     They have entered into Gross Darkness.

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Mat 24:40 The Lord will rapture individuals - not families or churches or denominations.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Mat 24:41 There are no coat-tail salvations.

Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come. Mat 24:42 We watch for the signs He gave us so that we can know that His appearing is near.     We cannot know the hour but we can know the season.      Why are we to watch?     Not for the Lord but for the enemy as we see in the next verse.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Mat 24:43 The thief is the enemy (not Christ).     We need to be vigilant so that we see the enemy coming and can thwart his efforts to deceive us.      The cat is out of the bag around the world.     The Spirit Of Antichrist is in control of the world.     We did not watch and our house has been broken into.     That which we counted precious has been stolen from us.      'Would not have suffered' means    ➛ 'would not have allowed', which means          → 'would have stopped', which means                ⇒ 'would have used force'.      We are not to suffer at the hands of criminals.     The only time we should NOT resist evil is when we are being persecuted for the cause of Christ 2Ti 2:12.      Otherwise a Christian society would be a lawless society with criminals flocking to take advantage of the easy pickings.

Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son Of Man comes. Mat 24:44 Christ will come when there is a false sense of security (peace) on the earth.      There will also be many Christians who have given up on Christ coming back because they believed they would not have to go through the Great Tribulation.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Mat 24:45 We are faithful and wise in Christ`s eyes when we are doing His will.     His will is for us to be witnesses of Him in every aspect of our lives.      The meat that Jesus refers to is the Gospel of the kingdom including interpretation of the signs of the times with respect to His Word.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing. Mat 24:46 Be serving the Lord by preaching and teaching the Word at His coming.

Truly I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. Mat 24:47 Jesus will make that servant to rule and reign with Him.

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; Mat 24:48 Satan wants to deceive us about the signs of the times.     He wants us to believe that the time is not now.      Satan will also discourage those who counted on a Pre Trib Rapture.

And shall begin to strike his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; Mat 24:49 Unbelief, selfishness, abuse and drunkenness will characterize those with shallow relationships with Christ.      Those who are prepared for the long night as were the 5 wise virgins will endure the trial of their faith which will come upon the whole world.

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looks not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, Mat 24:50 Shallow Christians will be caught by surprise because they have assumed the Lord has delayed His coming.

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mat 24:51 Shallow Christians will be deceived and take the mark, name or number of the beast and will end up in the Lake Of Fire with him.

Do you think Jesus did not know he would Return in 2 phases?    Do your really believe Jesus would not have told us about a 2-phased Return ?    What if you are wrong?   
   ➛ Pre-Trib - you will be looking for Christ to Return when the anti-Christ is on his thrown - likely you will be deceived into not recognizing who he is

   ➛ Post-Trib - you will be pleasantly surprised if there is a pre-Trib rapture and you will not be deceived when the anti-Christ takes control God is not the author of confusion

For the Lord is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1Co 14:33 If chaos, disorder or conflict arise, either    ➛ the flesh has made an appearance or    ➛ Satan has showed up.      The Holy Spirit will wait till the flesh is under control before participating.     If Satan is present, he must be dispatched by verbal command.
