The gift of His Son

For the Holy Spirit so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Joh 3:16 The Holy Spirit is the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Creator of all things by the Word.      What world is John speaking of?         ➛ The earth and all the people born into humanity.      The Holy Spirit is love and love is of the Holy Spirit.      The world was created by our Lord and it is good.     We know that man chose rebellion against the Holy Spirit and so humanity became evil.     But the Holy Spirit loves the people of this world and so He birthed Christ Jesus into the world to redeem it and us.      The Gospel is heard and those who are hungry are lead by the Holy Spirit to believe and receive the Truth.      The Truth sets us free from sin, from death and hell and brings us to Eternal Life by the infilling of the Holy Spirit.      Here is understanding:    ➛ Everlasting Life is Eternal Life    ➛ Eternal Life is union with the Holy Spirit.

The gift of living water

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of the Holy Spirit, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. Joh 4:10 Jesus takes her from focusing on division to focusing on the love, Grace and transforming power of His Holy Spirit who is the Living Water.

The gift of Righteousness

For if by one man`s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ). Rom 5:17 Yes!     We reign in life.     We are more than conquerors.     We are now Sons Of The Holy Spirit.     This is the same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.     We can do all things through the Holy Spirit of Jesus who strengthens us.

The gift of salvation

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of the Holy Spirit: Eph 2:8 We are saved because the Holy Spirit willed it Heb 8:12 and made it possible and legal through the shed blood of Jesus Christ Heb 10:10.      Salvation is totally an act of His unmerited favor - Grace.     Our part is to have faith in His Word - the Written Word and the Incarnate Word Act 16:31.      We have all been given The Measure Of Faith Rom 12:3.      It is that gift of faith than enables us to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ through whom we receive Grace 2Pe 1:3.      Once we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, the Faith Of Christ which is a fruit of His Holy Spirit provides all the benefits of Grace Rom 5:2.      The Faith Of Christ is the foundation of Grace Rom 5:19.      We are not supposed to trust in our faith but, rather, trust in the Faith Of Christ - the faith that is the fruit of the Holy Spirit Phi 2:8-11.

Every good gift

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Creator of truth and beauty, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Jam 1:17 Only good things come from the Lord.      He does not change over time and He is always Good and Light and Truth.      The enemy, Satan, is the inspiration for all that is evil.     Nothing good comes from the enemy.      Never accuse the Lord of causing or condoning evil.     That is confusing Him with Satan.     It is blasphemy.

Spiritual gifts

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 1Co 12:1 1Co 12:1-13 is obviously about Spirit Gifts but underlying this discussion is the uprooting of polytheism 1Co 12:2 coming from ignorance of the Lord Jesus Christ Joh 1:1.      1Co 12:1-6 specifically deal with the polytheistic error that was (and still is) in the church Humanity has a long history of polytheism, with it still being prevalent today.      Even in Christianity there are the shadows of polytheism in the form of trinitarianism.      In the Corinthian church there was a lot of ignorance and misconceptions regarding the Holy Spirit and Spirit Gifts.      That continues today despite this chapter due to polytheistic strongholds.      The word that keeps appearing in this chapter is the word `one` to emphasize what was stated in Deu 6:4 - One God..      Jesus is the embodiment of His Holy Spirit.     He always flowed naturally in His Holy Spirit.     In so doing He said and did things that were supernatural.      The secret to understanding the Holy Spirit and Spirit Gifts is that we enter into a partnership, a symbiotic relationship with Him.

The gift of the keys of the kingdom

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Mat 16:19 Peter is the archtype of the members of the body of Christ each of which will have Christ`s authority to bind and loose for the purpose of accomplishing the Lord`s will on earth as it is in heaven.      Couple these verses, 2Co 8:9 3Jn 1:2, with the promises of the Lord to Abraham whose children we are by faith.      It is our calling and our empowerment to improve the Human Condition.

The gift of the Holy Spirit

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Heavenly Father give Himself to them that ask him? Luk 11:13 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus and the Gift Of Christ to us.      To receive Christ is to receive His Holy Spirit.      The Holy Spirit is so much more loving and giving than the best of parents.     He will give Himself to anyone who asks Him.      The reality is that many believers do not want to manifest as Sons Of The Holy Spirit.     They are content to just miss hell and enter heaven when they die.      But without the baptism of the Holy Spirit believers are ineffective as witnessed by the decline of the church and the secularization of society.      Jesus commanded the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they received the power of the Holy Spirit.     Only then were they to go forth preaching the Gospel of the kingdom.      If the disciples who walked with Jesus needed Spirit Baptism, on what basis do believers think that they do not?

The gift of the Kingdom

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father`s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luk 12:32 We must try to understand the depth, breadth and height of the Lord`s love for us.         ➛ He created us.         ➛ He redeemed us.         ➛ He filled us.         ➛ He has made us His heirs.     Eph 3:19 1Jn 3:1 1Jn 3:2 This verse does not say the Holy Spirit wants to share His Kingdom, rather, it says He wants to give us His Kingdom.      That gift comes by being one with Him so that He manifests in us and through us.     We become part of His life and, in fact, He becomes ours.     Col 3:4

The gift of His flesh for the life of the world

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Joh 6:51 Any questions?     What an awesome revelation and promise.

The gift of His peace

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.     Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Joh 14:27 The Lord`s peace is an eternal gift of Himself by His Holy Spirit.     It is not dependent on us except to the extent that we must receive His Spirit and allow Him to manifest that peace.      He will never be withdrawn from us and so His peace will never leave us.      For this reason we should never be disturbed.      The Gospel is the Gospel of peace Eph 6:15.      Share it with every person who is being tormented by Satan through fear.     Set them free!      It is important to realize that this is Internal Peace.     It has little to do with External Peace which is totally dependent on how we manifest as Sons Of The Holy Spirit.         ➛ If we don't manifest as Sons we can have some peace with the world    ➛ If we manifest as Sons we will bear his reproach, shame and rejection.      Jesus did not come to bring External Peace Mat 10:34.      As a matter of fact He told us that our enemies may be in our own home Mar 13:12.      Jesus is the Prince Of Peace.     He has already provided Internal Peace to as many as receive Him.     When He returns He will destroy all the wicked who have joined Satan to disrupt world peace and then He will establish peace on this earth.

The gift of answered prayer

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing.     Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Joh 16:23 Jesus is telling us to refer to His Holy Spirit Father using His name, Jesus.     That is because the Holy Spirit Father is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.      That day to which Jesus is referring is the day of Pentecost when His Holy Spirit came to dwell in us.      The Holy Spirit is Christ in us the hope of glory Col 1:27.

The gift of all things

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Rom 8:32 A logical conclusion that is rock solid.      Who is the ` `He`?         ➛ The Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus.

The gift of healing

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Mat 10:8 What have we received?      All things for life and godliness 2Pe 1:3.      What are we to give?      All things for life and godliness.      Who are we to give to?      Whosoever will come to Christ Jesus in faith Rev 21:6.      Jesus wants us to administer His kingdom to those who will enter into it by faith in Him.      If you are a believer and receiver of Christ Jesus, you have all things for life and godliness in you.     You are to give out those gifts to others freely.
