Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly, I say unto you, You seek me, not because you saw the miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves, and were filled. |
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of the Lord, that you believe on him whom he has sent. |
They said therefore unto him, What sign show you then, that we may see, and believe you? what do you work? |
But I said unto you, That you also have seen me, and believe not. |
For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. |
And this is the Holy Spirit Father`s will which has sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. |
The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. |
Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. |
No man can come to me, except the Holy Spirit Father which has sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. |
This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. |
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? |
He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him. |
I have manifested your name unto the men which you gave me out of the world: yours they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept your word. |
Now they have known that all things whatsoever you have given me are of you. |
For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me. |
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me; for they are yours. |
And all mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I am glorified in them. |
While I was with them in the world, I kept them by your power: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. |
And now come I to you; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. |
I have given them your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. |
I pray not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil. |
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. |
As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. |
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; |
That they all may be one; as you, Holy Spirit Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me. |
And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: |
I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me. |
O righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me. |
And I have declared unto them your name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. |
What does Jesus really want from us?
Oneness in Spirit And Truth. |
