When we look into the sky all we see is light. Our brain converts the light into images. We assume the image describes something with substance.
We do not know that something is real simply from an image defined by light.
Heretofore in movies we have seen images that were captured on film or digitally based on the existence of real actors and real scenes.
It is now possible through AI to create those images without any real actors or real scenes.
My point? If humans with AI can give illusions that are realistic why would we think that Almighty God could not create the illusion of stars, planets, constellations, etc?
The Bible actually says that is what He did.
And the Lord said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Since God would later create man in time, He provided the means by which time would be measured. |
