Knowing but not understanding.
Reverencing something does not mean we understand it.

E Plebnista is not a real word or phrase.   It is actually a corruption of the phrase 'We the people' from a Star Trek episode.

In that episode a people like the American people had a Constitution with a Preamble that began with the words 'We the people'.

But because of a world war the people had suffered such privation over generations that they had lost much of their language skills.

The current generation did not know how to pronounce the words of the Preamble but they still had reverence for it which had passed down through the generations.

Though I have seen the episode several times over the years it never occurred to me how that we can reverence something that we do not understand.

Because of how the Holy Spirit has given me a burden to preach the simple, profound Truth of the Gospel, I have become all too aware of how the church has devolved from what Christ intended it to be.

What has caused this devolution?
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: seeing you have forgotten the law of your Lord, I will also forget your children.
The knowledge of the Creator is not just knowing about Him but understanding our total dependence on Him.     It is appreciating His character.     It is drawing near to Him for the purpose of intimate, personal relationship with Him.

The reality is that a person who does not desire the Holy Spirit does not know Him as Christ Jesus, the Creator.     He is altogether lovely, giving and loving.     He is desirable beyond anything or anyone in existence.

Anyone who does not desire the Holy Spirit will be rejected by the Lord Jesus Christ because they are unfit for His presence.

We have not had a dearth of information.   But knowledge requires information and understanding to be effective.

'Familiarity breeds contempt'.
With respect to information and understanding we can say that the repetition of information can breed contempt for its understanding and its import.

When you repeat pre-packaged interpretations of information then there is dullness and resistance to revisiting the information.

Such has happened to the church.   Doctrines were developed and made the foundation governing what believers believed as well as the ceiling for what they believed.
Jesus said unto him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.
In this statement Jesus lays out the revolutionary Law Of Faith revealing how He has enabled us to access all Spiritual Blessings He has provided for us in Heavenly Places.

How does He enable us?     By His Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit gives us supernatural faith that enables us to believe, and so to receive.

It is true that when we preach the Gospel that there must be an introductory set of information that is communicated to the novice.

However, that introductory information should point to the amazingness of the Grace Of God in Christ Jesus such that they enter i to faith with an expectation of glorious things happening to them, in them and through them.
To whom the Holy Spirit would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is the Spirit Of Christ in you, imparting a confident expectation of honor, renown and splendor:
The Holy Spirit, by virtue of Christ Jesus, has imparted Himself into believers and thereby brought them into His glory as His sons.

We have the same Spirit in us that raised Christ Jesus from the dead.     .

All things are possible to him that believes.     .

It is important rhat the believer understands that they are embarking on an eternal journey into relationship with their Creator and Savior in which they will grow in Grace and knowledge of Him.

In other words it is important that they understand they have merely left and have not arrived.

Unfortunately, because of the packaging error that has been in Christianity since just after the beginning, long-time believers are stunted, never having matured, never having manifested as Sons Of God.

So, we need a revival of Spirit And Truth teaching in the church - every denomination - even, and maybe most importantly, among the clergy.

The revival will require two things
being filled/refilled with the Holy Spirit Of Truth
    revisiting the Word Of Truth
in that order

Without the Spirit Of Truth, the Word Of Truth has not and can not be spiritually discerned.
