When you are Born Again with a New Spirit and you ask for the Holy Spirit to baptize you with fire you will enter into intimate, personal relationship with Christ Jesus.   

As you open the Word Of Truth, He will teach you with revelation knowledge of the Truth by His Holy Spirit Of Truth.   

You will be Free Indeed and under the bondage and control of no man and no organization, but you will be under the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be in Him.   

This was always the model that Christ intended.   

He told His disciples to not do anything until they were baptized with His Holy Spirit and receive His power.   

Men who wanted to rule the Body Of Christ usurped the authority of the Word and the Power of the Holy Spirit and have left believers weak, providing the environment for children of Satan to take over the earth that belongs to Christ Jesus.   

Christ does not hold you guilty of ignorance and error unless you CHOOSE it once you know the Truth.   

I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot. Rev 3:15 We are to be lively stones, not couch potatoes.

So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue you out of my mouth. Rev 3:16 It makes no sense for a person who has been redeemed and filled with the Holy Spirit to be passive and lethargic.     Such make Christ sick.      The truth is that such people are only nominal Christians.     They have not believed the Word Of The Lord and they have not received His Holy Spirit.     They are rebels who have listened to the lies of Satan and been deceived by him.

Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Rev 3:17 The passivity and apathy are a result of becoming Carnal Minded, placing value on temporal rather than spiritual things.      Note that such as depart from their First Love are wretched.     They are frustrated that their prayers go unanswered, that they suffer just like the unbeliever.      The gold that the next verse speaks about is the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus    ➛ who heals us,    ➛ who provides for us,    ➛ who empowers us to do the work of Christ.

I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see. Rev 3:18 How do we buy from Christ?         ➛ by giving attention to Him,    ➛ by repenting,    ➛ by renewing our minds.      It is in our worship of our Lord Jesus Christ that we exhibit our appreciation for what Christ has done for us.      When we appreciate Him, He opens our eyes to the light and truth, filling us with His Spirit.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Rev 3:19 The Lord rebukes us for being Carnal Minded rather than Spiritual Minded.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20 The fact that this statement is addressed to the church at Laodicea implies that they have shut Christ out of their operation.     It is in fellowship with Christ by His Spirit according to His Word that we sup with Him.      Who is it that stands at the door knocking?     He is the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love. Rev 2:4 Ephesus had substituted religion for relationship.     They had become ritualistic instead of Spirit Filled.

Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent. Rev 2:5 What are the First Works of a believer?      To hear the Word, to believe it, to receive it and to do it.      To resist the teaching and leading of the Word and Holy Spirit puts one in jeopardy of losing their influence - i.e.     having their candlestick removed.     The church at Ephesus no longer exists.      Because 21st century Christianity has refused to confront evil, its influence in the world is gone.      This lack of influence opens the flood gates for those driven by the Spirit Of Antichrist to establish a globalist one-world government and give power to the Beast.
