The early church fathers began to add things to Christianity and to take certain things away from it, and in the process, made Christianity into something Christ never intended it to be.   

And even though the Protestants fixed some of the error, they drug some major error with them.   

But Christ looks at the heart and so He is merciful to the poor ignorant believers who were mislead by those who should have known better.   

Jesus said that all who worship Him ( Truth) will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.   

Two things
   ➛ Holy Spirit of Truth
   ➛ Word of Truth

No mention of repetitious prayers, worship of angels or the dead, purgatory, limbo, rituals, catechisms, the trinity or cessationism.   

The Protestants dropped some of those other things but held onto trinitarianism and cessationism - THE BIGGIES!   

Jesus said come unto ME, not come unto US.   

Jesus said I Am the resurrection and the life, not WE are the resurrection and the life.   

Jesus said I and my Father are 1.   (His Holy Spirit is His Father)

Jesus said If you have seen Me you have seen The Father.   

Jesus told His disciples to do nothing until they received the Power of His Holy Spirit.   If they needed the Holy Spirit baptism, why wouldn't every believer?   

Since the Holy Spirit is the Power, denial of His baptism is a decision to be weak and ineffective.   

Since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, rejecting His baptism is determining to lack understanding of the spiritual import of His Word.   

Since the Holy Spirit Father is 1 with Christ Jesus, rejecting Spirit baptism is rejecting intimacy with Christ Jesus.
