Title: The evil interpreted as good

Nothing, absolutely nothing, befalls those “who love God” and “are called according to his purpose” but what is for our deepest and highest and longest good.    I have been a Spirit Filled believer since I was 11 and I have been a minister for the past 48 years.   And, I have lived a very blessed life.

But a little over 10 years ago I was involved in a major accident that could have taken my life ending me up with two broke femurs and lacerations.

According to the quote above by an Extreme Sovereignty Calvinist, God was responsible for my accident and injuries and not the man who pulled out in from of me.

Also, the quote implies that this was the best thing that could have happened to me.

Now, if you don't see the foolishness of this kind of thinking that makes God out to be the direct cause of all evil, suffering and death, I really don't know what to say to you.

It just seems to be inconsistent with Him being our Father who is love, good, kind, and gentle.
