The following in response to a quote where Spurgeon said that a sinner cannot come yo Christ except he is drawn by the Father.
Wrong. "Come unto Me all you who labor ..."
Charles was taught that stupid stuff by another person who was taught that stupid stuff.... etc
The Holy Spirit would have told Charles NOT to say things that contradict the Word.
"Charles Spurgeon was not a "charismatic" in the modern theological sense (believing in the continuation of sign gifts like tongues or prophecy). He was a 19th-century Calvinistic Baptist who adhered to cessationism, though he was known for having a highly magnetic, captivating, and engaging preaching style."
