How people communicate with the Holy Spirit in them has changed from the Old Covenant as we now pray without ceasing.   

The concept that you must stop everything you are doing and go off somewhere to cry out to God is Old Covenant thinking.   

In the Old Covenant God and man were separated by sin.   
Under the New Covenant God ( Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus) abides in us and we abide in Him.   
So, we are in constant fellowship and communication with Him as there is no separation.   

Now, if you do the Old Covenant praying the Lord honors you because you are acting as a child in ignorance.   

The mystery of creation is Christ ( Holy Spirit) in you giving you expectation of glory.   

We are to walk as Sons Of God and not ignorant sheep.   

Jesus said ASK AND RECEIVE.   He did not say plead and plead and plead.   

Jesus said ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THEM THAT BELIEVE.   He did not say that all things are possible to them the pray and pray and pray.
