Title: To atheists who think God is neither good nor omniscient

As to the issue of the nature and character of God:
(By the way, God's name is Jesus).
The 'He' in the following is Jesus.

He gives free will.   That is part of His sovereignty.
Why?   Because He wants beings who love Him and His character and who desire to be in fellowship with Him.
He does NOT desire automatons.

Creating beings with free-will introduced the possibility and the likelihood that these being would choose to rebel and turn to evil.
He was not surprised when it happened.

He had determined before creating anything that He would be willing to pay the price for our rebellion.
And so, He was born in flesh to be the sacrifice that would enable us to be reconciled to Him.

Again, He defers to our FREE WILL to determine whether or not we desire Him and want to fellowship with Him.
He loves us, but that love must be reciprocated to seal the deal of salvation.

As to EVIL, He did indirectly create the evil by creating beings who could rebel and follow their own way of life.
    It was not His desire.
It was man's desire to rebel.

Out of that rebellion came violence, sickness, disease, hate, death and all the other aspects of the wickedness of men.

What small-minded people fail to grasp is that had Jesus wanted to prevent evil from ever manifesting, He would never have created us.

Is that what we would want?   To have never existed?

To receive Christ Jesus, the Creator God who loves us and has redeemed us by His own life, is to enter into eternal bliss.

To reject Christ Jesus is to stamp yourself as damaged, unredeemable goods to be destroyed in the Lake Of Fire.
