We are all born with The Measure Of Faith just as we were born knowing that there is a Creator.
Along the line we were presented with the Gospel Of Jesus Christ.
Those who believed using The Measure Of Faith we were born with and attached that faith to the FaithOfChrist' were Born Again of the Holy Spirit Of Christ.
Those who heard the Gospel and refused to attach The Measure Of Faith to the FaithOfChrist' very likely rejected the notion of a Creator at the same time and remained lost and headed to the Lake Of Fire.
The Free Will of both individuals determined the outcome of their existence.
Once a person has been Born Again of the Holy Spirit they are Eternally Secure as far as Christ is concerned. They are elected.
The only way such could end up lost is by denying the Faith Of Christ and turning The Measure Of Faith away from Him.
There are no works involved in salvation except on the side of the Savior who Finished that work on Calvary.
