And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Rev 5:1 This is the Book Of Life which contains the names of all those who have honoured Christ Jesus by faith in Him.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? Rev 5:2 Who but our Lord Jesus Christ, through His wonderful sacrifice, could make it possible for us to have life?      His faithfulness has made Him worthy to give life to those whose names are in the Book Of Life.      And that life is His Holy Spirit.

And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. Rev 5:3 There is salvation in no other name in heaven or in earth.      Every man`s salvation is totally dependent on the work of Christ Jesus.     There is not even another option worthy to be considered.

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. Rev 5:4 John is struck by the fact that Eternal Death was outside the Book Of Life and his heart broke in the realization of the doom it portended.

And one of the elders says unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Rev 5:5 But there is the light, the Truth, the way!      Christ Jesus prevailed in His life of sacrifice and obedience to His Holy Spirit.      He is worthy!
